Japanese knotweed is very common in Hertfordshire. The Knotweed Company is treating numerous sites throughout the county – both large infestations and smaller areas.

Knotweed can be commonly found throughout all the main towns and urban areas of Hertfordshire and we would grade the county’s level of infestation as moderate. We have contracts in Hertford, St Albans, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Hitchin, Tring, Stevenage, Watford and Welwyn, as well as other parts of the county.

The Knotweed Company services its contracts - which include long-term herbicide programmes, Mortgage Risk Surveys for Japanese knotweed and construction-enabling works - mainly through the use of our local technicians and surveyors Kevin Gilderson and Paul Hamilton.
