Japanese knotweed can frequently be found in many parts of Lancashire. We have discovered over the years that there are many local hot spots for Japanese knotweed within the county. These include (but are not limited to) Blackpool, Preston, Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, Lytham St Annes, Lancaster, Nelson, Chorley, Clitheroe and Leyland. However, Japanese knotweed can be found growing in almost any part of the county.
