Japanese knotweed in Wales

Japanese knotweed is frequently found in many parts of Wales and there are many local hot spots. These include (but are not limited to) the main urban areas of Swansea, Cardiff, Newport, Abergavenny, Wrexham, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda, Barry, Barmouth, Carmarthen, Bangor, Anglesey, Fishguard, Bridgend, Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Haverford West, Monmouth, Neath, Llanelli and Pembroke. However, Japanese knotweed can be found growing in almost any part of Wales and often in large or very large stands.

The Knotweed Company works in all parts of Wales and has active contracts throughout the area, including for Merthyr Valley Homes and in Snowdonia.
