Japanese knotweed can be frequently found in many parts of Yorkshire and the Humber, including the Yorkshire Dales, South Yorkshire, North York Moors, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire. There are many local hot spots for Japanese knotweed within the region. These include (but are not limited to) Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Huddersfield, York, Kingston upon Hull, Middlesborough, Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley, Wakefield, Harrogate, Keighley, Castleford, Dewsbury, Scarborough, Batley, Redcar, Bridlington and Richmond. However, Japanese knotweed can be found growing in almost any part of Yorkshire and the Humber.
